OK ....I hope I am learning what in the world you do to create a BLOG. This is my first post and hopefully not my last one. Maybe I will improve with time. Of course I have posted pictures of my grandbabies. More yet to come of Wells and Vivian.
I love it here in St. George, Utah. The Mountains are beautiful and so many different colors, some are even volcanoes We actually get four seasons and SNOW. We can be up playing in the snow in just 37 miles from our home.
Jerry finished with Audiology School in July and is practicing here in St. George until they decide where they want to start their own practice. He has offers in Seatle Washington, Las Vegas, Austin Texas and here in St. George. (My vote is of course for here). Tammi is assisting a Dr. at Amara Spa and loves it. She wants to get her nursing degree.
Steven and Jen still live and love living in Colorado Springs. Their puppy (Roxy) had to have surgery on her leg and was in a cast for several months.
Jen is the greatest to post the most beautiful pictures of her garden and the wild flowers they take on their many trips to the beautiful Colorado Mountains, you can never go wrong with the beauty in Colorado.
Travis & Kris bought a Dental Practice in Austin Texas much to my sorrow and have moved there. TEARS,TEARS, MORE TEARS and not of joy. One week after they moved Our Little Angel Baby Vivian was born, and not by her choice. The Dr. found some problems with her and Kristine, so he decided it was time for her birth. Baby Vivian is doing quite well, she was fitted with hearing aids last week and has many specialists yet to visit in her young life but she was sent to us for a very SPECIAL reason. They are even going to take a bone from her little finger and make her a thumb. She will have a finger like dama's now. Vivian Illiana was born on 6/1 and weighed 5.5 lbs when she was born and now weights 8 lbs. I miss Mya and Roanan so very much. The tears are always on the brim of my eyes. I can't wait to hold and cuddle my little angel Vivian.
Trevor, Jordan, Lyla and baby Wells will be through with school this fall, and Trevor is going to buy into Adam Lofgran's Optometry Practice here in St. George, YEA. We were very lucky to have them live with us for a few short months while Trevor did his rotation here. Lyla stole my heart and I miss her sweetness, and her cute faces. Wells Mathew Hammons (named after Grandpa Smith) was born 7/29 and weighed 6.5 lbs. Trevor had a week off from school and they had hoped the birth would happen while he was there in Oregon. Wells was born at 10:30pm Saturday and Trevor had to leave to come back to Utah Sunday night. Close call guys.
Well at least Glen and My Head will be taken care of, but the rest of our body is going to pot (and not the fun kind).
How blessed we are to have 4 healthy children and their spouses and 8 grandchildren, two born the last couple of months. I can't believe that Case is in High School this year. I know for a fact that the girls are gaga over him. I love it when the little ones put up with my Tea Parties and "take a sleep over" with me. We have a long way to go to catch my Mother (never will, she has too many to keep track of).
